Equipment · Shop Work Orders
Bundle related repairs into a job ticket the shop can close.

What it does
A shop work order bundles one or more issues on a single piece of equipment into a job assigned to a mechanic, with statuses for In Progress, Waiting on Parts, and Done. Completion timestamps set themselves on close, and list views include the mechanic name, creator, and equipment code so filter and search stay fast.
Why it exists
Mechanics don't fix one thing at a time. They pull a truck in and knock out the brakes, the suspension, and the dash light in one shop visit. The shop work order is the job-level ticket that groups those repairs so nothing is left undone when the truck rolls back out.

- Assign a mechanic or shop manager to own the job
- Move the job through In Progress, Waiting on Parts, and Done
