What it does

Issues are the ticketed repair queue for the shop. Create them in Issues or link them to a specific DVIR, assign a mechanic, set a 1-to-5 priority, optionally schedule by due date or miles/hours, and move them from Todo through Done. Admins can bulk-assign a batch to the same mechanic or re-prioritize several at once.

Why it exists

A single DVIR can identify several problems on one truck. Mechanics need those issues organized in a clear, workable list, not buried in a wall of free text. Issues gives the shop a better way to review, prioritize, assign, and close out repairs without letting anything get missed.

Key capabilities

  • Create issues in Issues or straight from a DVIR finding
  • Assign to a mechanic or shop manager and record who raised it
  • Sort and filter by priority, status, equipment, system, and assignee
  • Bulk-update priority and assignee across many issues at once
  • Roll issues up into a shop work order when they become one job
