DOT inspections without an app or login

What it does
Drivers scan the QR code on a truck, walk through a 40-plus point inspection covering engine, brakes, tires, lights, and trailer, and sign, all without logging in. Reports carry driver and mechanic signatures, capture hours and miles at inspection time, and push the equipment's mechanical status forward automatically (Operational, Partially Operational, Non-Operational).
Why it exists
Federal DOT rules require a daily pre-trip inspection on every commercial vehicle, and that paperwork is very important for compliance and any potential legal defense. DVIR replaces loose paper with emailed PDFs with a signed, searchable record, and feeds findings straight into the repair queue.
